Thanks for the comment. the lion and the rabbit are two wood block prints I made years back. the infinity symbol is a print of a wooden paddle I made for clay based on the Kolomoki Native American pottery. The row of symbols at the top right are form symbols for 5 of the evolutionary stages of earth from Rudolf Steiner. the stone image is from a book I have lost the reference but I think it is a european Michaelic image called Marduk?

Stephen Hawks, MFA Lecturer III UTRGV, School of Art and Design Stephen Hawks, born in Washington D. C., has lived most of his life in Georgia. He has training in art, music, and theater, an AA in theater from South Georgia College, a BFA from Valdosta State University, and an Interdisciplinary MFA, with a concentration in ceramics from Florida State University with additional coarse work in art education from Columbus State University. He was Resident Potter at Westville living history museum for 19 years and an independent artist for over 35 years. He is married with two grown Daughters, one with a doctorate in Nursing, teaching at Kennesaw State, the other works in social work and counselling. He came to Brownsville Texas in the fall...
